1. System Overview
The Whole Process Automation Control System is based on the characteristics of each mineral processing process to establish a soft measurement model of crushing and screening, grinding ore and classification, separation, and dewatering by adopting proven and advanced algorithms through reliable measurement methods, so as to determine the key factors influencing the production process, automatic optimization of process parameters, and to achieve optimal control of mineral processing process. In this way, The Whole Process Automation Control System can improve handling capacity, improve metal recovery, reduce energy consumption, and reduce the labor intensity of workers.
2. System Function
1) Automatic control system for crushing and screening
Combined the crushing and screening system with the characteristics of crushing process in the dressing plant, it can ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of the whole system through centralized monitoring and centralized management of electrical equipment and implementing logical linkage and protection control for related equipment. Meanwhile, by detecting the material level and power of crushing chamber and judging the load of current crusher, the ore feeding volume can be optimally the adjusted and controlled. And the rotational speed of the ore feeding machine can be adjusted to make the crusher run at near full load or in a better ore feeding condition.
2) Automatic control system for the grinding and classification
Advanced control method is used in this system. Through comprehensive analysis and determination of the factors such as the load of the mill and the nature of the ore feeding, the grinding and classification automatic control system can realize the optimal control of the mill ore feeding, the concentration of ore grinding, the concentration of classification overflow and the particle size, can realize analysis and adjustment of the mill ball load and the mill ball ratio, safety protection of mill oil road lubrication system, etc. Meanwhile, the system can also realize the automatic detection, display of the ore grinding and classification operation parameters and various fault alarms, so as to make the ore grinding and classification operation always run in optimal condition.
3) Separation automatic control system
Magnetic separation automation control includes the detection and control of flow rate and concentration in Magnetic Separation Process, the detection and control of magnetic product grade, the magnetic field intensity，change frequency，and speed control of electromagnetic Magnetic Separation Equipment, the automatic control of the high frequency fine-mesh screen amplitude and frequency, etc.
Flotation automatic control includes automatic control of flotation machine adding reagent, the detection and controlling of slurry concentration and flow rate in flotation process, the controlling of slurry level in the flotation cell, the automatic analysis of flotation slurry grade, etc.
Gravity concentration automation control includes the detection and control of materials feeding, the detection of heavy medium specific gravity and automatic proportioning, the detection and control of product concentration and specific gravity, etc.
4) The dewatering automatic control system
The dewatering automatic control system mainly detects thickener underflow concentration, flow rate, sludge and water interface, overflow water turbidity, the filtrate turbidity of the filter, the water content of the filter cake, etc. The system can help stabilize technical process by automatic control to achieve the aim of improving the quality of the product.
5) Automatic control system of three-water balance
The main purpose of the three-water balance automatic control system is to balance the control of the new water, the circulating water and the tailings pond backwater, improve the quality and dosage of the circulating water, reduce the consumption of new water, so as to achieve the purpose of saving energy and reducing consumption. Automatic control system of three water balance mainly consists of thickener underflow concentration control, tailings static backwater flow detection and control system, the circulating water flow detection and control system, the new water flow detection and control system and water of productive use pressure automatic regulating system etc.
